Attend CLIA’s 2025 AGM

CLIA is an advocate for the Canadian language industry, but we can’t be your voice unless you make yourselves heard. We’re asking all CLIA members to attend our upcoming AGM. This year, our AGM will be virtual.

During the AGM, attendees will hear reports from the Board of Directors on the state of the Association. Corporate members can participate in the election of the 2025-2026 Board of Directors, and vote on items of importance to our association, in accordance with the association’s by-laws.

This is your chance to weigh in on the direction of our industry and vote for who you want to represent you. There are different ways to get involved. Corporate Members can run for a seat on our voluntary Board of Directors.

We’re also looking for volunteers to serve on the following committees:
  • -Interpretation Committee
  • -Communications & Events Committee
  • -Sponsorship Committee  
  • -Membership Committee  

Email communications@language-industry.ca if you are interested in running for a board or committee position. If you are a currently serving member of the board or committees, and are interested in switching roles, please let us know.

Only CLIA Corporate Members in good standing can vote, directly or by proxy. If you have not renewed your membership, this is a good time to do it.

CLIA isn’t just an industry association, we’re a community.
We can’t wait to connect at our AGM to chart a course for CLIA’s future, together.
